I work in an office with a few ladies that go to Better Bodies and trained with James and they seemed to transform overnight.
I
started with James in a size 18 feeling sad and depressed about my
future, being a single Mom it wasn't going to be easy to get back into
the dating scene, let alone in a size 18.
Once I made the
commitment and started working out 3 times a week and following a
nutrition plan that was made for me the pounds started melting off.
Now
6 months later I'm in a size 6 and feeling great. I eat better
therefore I feel better and I know I couldn't have done it without the
help and motivation from the personal attention I get while going to
Better Bodies.
Now I'm buying a clothing size I haven't worn
since college and I've even been dating men younger than me and the
future looks great!!!!!!

When
I came to Better Bodies, my goal was to lose between 20 - 30 pounds,
gain muscle and get fit. My trainer Jill has helped me to achieve that
goal in so many ways. Jill has been consistently professional and on
time. She has been motivating and positive at all 60 of my workouts.
She has been knowledgeable and shared much of that knowledge with me
about diet, cardio and exercises. She has been flexible during a few
minor injuries and adjusted the exercises so I still got results. She
knew how to push me to my limits and beyond when I thought I couldn't
do it, or get there. Then she was so encouraging and proud afterwards,
that I could do it all over again, gladly! She adopted as a trainer to
my needs both physically and emotionally. I knew as her client that not
only did she help me and take me to my goals, but that she really
cares. Jill is an awesome trainer who I would recommend to anyone. She
is a huge asset to Better Bodies.

 Let
me start out by saying, "Better bodies, Jeramy Price and Jason Jackson
have brought me around to a better way of living!" I started training
with Jason on Valentine's Day. It was the best Valentine's gift I've
ever given myself! Jason's taught me that with a balance of cardio,
diet and weight training I can be healthier, look healthier and be
happy with myself at any age.
Over the past 30 years I have
vacillated between fad dieting, fat doctors, sporadic exercising bouts,
starting myself, more fat doctors, more dieting, etc etc. Yes, I lost
weight... Yes, I could say I looked thin. However, I was cranky... I was hungry... I was jittery from the weight control drugs, and... in a shorter time period than it took me to lose the weight, as soon as I stopped the process, the weight came back on... and usually then some.
Then
the big "45" came and with it came about 20 pounds and a total shift in
my metabolism and muscle tone. Not to mention, gravity took hold of
parts of my body...
heck, most of my body. I wasn't eating any differently, exercising any
differently (if I could call an active daily routine exercise), or
experiencing a change in my lifestyle...
just crossing an aging threshold. Within 7 months I didn't like the way
I felt, didn't like looking at myself, lost motivation to go out and
lost self-confidence.
Then I heard a radio ad for "Better
Bodies". The ad sounded nice enough, the gym wasn't too far from my
house and I thought "I'm not making it on my own...
maybe they can help." I needed a change. Within 15 minutes of talking
to Jeramy Price, I realized this was what I needed. I needed a smaller
gym with personalized training to hold me accountable. It was always
easy to find something else to do rather than exercise. By working with
a trainer I had appointments to keep. Plus, the other gyms I'd gone to
have the equipment...
lots of equipment! My problem was, I'd read the machine, keep adjusting
the weights higher (or sometimes lower) to something that felt like it
was going to do something. Then two days later the pain would catch up
and I couldn't move, let alone go back to the gym. Honestly, I didn't
want to go back! I remember one time after a session of calf exercises
where getting out of bed the next morning I fell flat on my face
because my muscles were so tight...
and I walked on tiptoes for at least two days! At "Better Bodies" I
learned the professional trainers design programs to help you achieve
the results through gradual muscle limitation progressions and working
with specific muscle groups at different sessions. They take the
guesswork out and more importantly prevent injury and undue pain while
providing motivation and confidence.
Is it easy? No, nothing
worthwhile in life should be easy. However, because of the relaxed
atmosphere in the gym, I found it easy to get up and go three times a
week... found it easy to stretch a 5 minute warm-up cardio into 30 minutes...found
it easy to push myself just a little harder because I trusted that
Jason was not going to ask something of me that he didn't know I
physically could handle. Would I call it a "Hate-Love" relationship... yes, when I feel I can't do one more rep and Jason's standing over me telling me "Do three more you can do it", I hate him...
but I love the results! Results that I started noticing within 30-60
days of starting. Within 90 days I went from 24% body fat to 14%. I
lost inches, lost fat pounds & gained muscle pounds. I found out
that I could be leaner and toner at 140 pounds than 125 pounds by
converting fat weight into muscle weight. I realized that the almighty
"scale" means nothing!
Let's face it. We'd all love to wave a
magic wand, say "Poof" and have the body that we've always desired. We
also know that's not going to happen. However, with "Better Bodies" my
trainer, Jason, and a positive & committed attitude on my part, I'm
getting more than I expected. I'm healthier looking then I've ever
been, I'm able to eat without feeling hungry and I'm wearing clothes
that I haven't worn in years. And, the best thing of all...
When my husband tells me how great I look, I feel his compliments are
sincere and it makes me feel great! I would recommend "Better Bodies",
Jason and the professional trainers on staff to anyone who truly wants
to make a difference in their health, lifestyle and physical appearance.
I can't tell you "Thanks" enough Jason! I really do appreciate everything you've done for me.

I
have been working out with Marco Jimenez three times a week for the
past five months and so far I have removed 31 pounds and gone from a
size 14 (sometimes even a 16) to a size 8.
Signing up for training session with Marco at Better Bodies was my last ditch attempt at losing weight. I didn't truly believe that I was capable of achieving
a better body because I have always struggled to make regular exercise
and healthy eating top priorities. However, I think my before and after
photos show that I was wrong! As I've progressed, my goals have evolved
and become more ambitious. Now I am much closer to my ultimate goal
(which was really just a fantasy until recently) and Marco has given me
the confidence to know that I will succeed eventually ... even if not by tomorrow (darn)!
Some
weeks have been easier than others. During the rough weeks, Marco has
been instrumental in keeping me on track. I once called him in the
middle of the day because I could not stop eating cookies that someone
brought to work. Marco talked me through he situation, reminded me of
my progress so far and my goals, and gave me a plan of attack so that I
wouldn't find myself so tempted and out of control again. Anyone else
would have told me to just stop eating the cookies, but Marco
recognized that I needed more that that. With Marco's coaching I feel
like I have developed will power made of steel (well, most of the time
anyway) ... something that I definitely never had before!
The
bottom line is that Marco is an awesome trainer/coach and I'm glad he
continues to put up with me and my sometimes feisty attitude. I look
forward to many more sessions.

My
story is probably quite typical. I'm 38. Somewhere between my "FREE
FOOD" at work, to needing a hysterectomy last June, the weight piled
on. One day, while reading the newspaper, a Better Bodies ad fell out
onto my lap. I flipped thru it and quickly imagined myself as a
"BEFORE" and "AFTER" client. I drove to the Oracle/OrangeGrove facility
and asked for my 2-FREE lessons.
I asked for James Huffman to
train me. He had trained the woman in the ad and her results were
AMAZING. After my 2-freebies, I joined the 36 - 1 hour plan.
James would change my workout frequently to keep it fun. He expected a lot from me, and I never wanted to disappoint him.
The
harder I worked out, the more results I saw. Now, 4-1/2 months later,
here I am, 20 pounds lighter. The mirror and I are friends again. So,

name is Celeste McBride, and I have been working out with Eric Brannon
as my personal trainer for just under a year now. The last several
months Eric and I have had many discussions regarding my workout
program and nutritional habits. Based on all of our discussions I made
a personal decision end of last summer to work closely with Eric and
make major changes to my work out routines and my nutritional intake.
On the first of September I was weighing in at 189 lbs. As of today I
am now weighting in at 168lbs (21 lbs weight loss). Together with Eric
and I have modified my work out sessions to include more cardio time
and changed up my weight training sessions, and together we discussed
ways o better improve my nutritional intake. I am definitely showing
signs of getting stronger and having more endurance during my cardio
training and weight training. The best part is the work I am putting

clothes in my closet I have not seen in several years now. I am loving

Mother of Three and Business Owner
I
am a forty three year old mother of three, whose life has been bettered
beyond compare by the services offered at Better Bodies. I had all
three of my children at a very early age and since then I have always
struggled with my weight. I also own a restaurant that is all
consuming, and doesn't give me much time to exercise or thing about
proper nutrition. I found myself just grabbing anything I could and
eating it as fast as I could because of the lack of time. I have been
on and off medication for many years for a variety of diagnoses and
then prescribed yet more medication because of the side affects of that
medication and my body became more and more embarrassing to me, so that
nobody was allowed to take a picture of me. This has changed through
the help of Better Bodies and I'm not ashamed anymore to have my
picture taken.
My work with Woody, my personal trainer at Better
Bodies, has taught me to take control of my weight and my life. Woody
is available whenever I need him, day or night, to give me advise about
my diet and nutritional choices. Since the start of my work at Better
Bodies, and with the help of Woody, I have not only gained control of
my weight but I have been able to stop the excess of medication I was
taking by finding natural solutions to my health problems. I am happier
and healthier now than I can ever remember being. I have been working
with Woody for a year and a half now. In the first 8 months I lost 33
pounds and I went from 36 percent body fat to 18 percent. Beyond that
he helped me to build more lean muscle tissue to get me closer to my
ultimate personal goal which is to look like a fitness model. I credit
this to Woody my personal trainer whose determination and dedication
continues to help me reach my furthest goals.

began my fitness experience at Better Bodies of Tucson with my wife.
After an initial consultation with Jeramy Price regarding our
objectives and the importance of proper diet and rest while training,
we were matched with our trainer Jason Jackson. At the time I began my
program I weighed 305 lbs.
Since beginning our 3 times a week
sessions with Jason I have lowered my weight to 255 lbs over a period
of 6 months. Not only has my weight decreased but my overall fitness
has increased dramatically which reflects in many areas of my life on a
daily basis. My goal is to achieve a weight of 220 lbs by the end of
the year with the continued excellent training and encouragement by
Jason and the team at Better Bodies.

 Eating
the wrong food at the wrong hours, little sleep and most importantly
four years of college was the reason I gained sixty pounds. I can back
from taking a trip with friends and the person I saw in the pictures
was not me. I didn't recognize myself, so I decided enough was enough
this was getting way out of hand and I had to change it.
I
started to eat well and work out. Initially the weight came off really
quickly, but after a while I hit the plateau we all keep reading about
in the magazines. This is when a friend referred me to Better Bodies
and I began training with Kris. His expertise and intricately planned
exercise routine, which includes strength training and cardiovascular
activities has made a world of difference to my weight loss. By no
means has it been easy getting to the gym so early in the morning or
enduring the rigorous workouts, but I'm almost there and it feels great.
I have lost a total of 50 pounds and with the help of Kris and Better Bodies I can't wait to lose the last few.
